A group of Junior, Brownie, and Daisy Girl Scouts from Audubon Charter School joined the Mayor and Archbishop in Jackson Square to lead the crowd of 7,000 with an adorable (if a little quiet) rendition of “Jingle Bells”, at the annual Patio Planters “Caroling in Jackson Square”.
The Upper Campus’ annual Holiday Program will take place December 18th at 6:00pm at St. Katharine Drexel Preparatory School, located at 5116 Magazine Street. Please join us for an evening of Holiday Entertainment featuring students in the music program, Talented Theatre program, and Talented Music program.
There will be no ticket sales for this program, but donations are always accepted!
Thank you to all of our generous families who have made a gift to the 2014-15 Annual Fund. The Annual Fund has raised almost $41,000 so far, and 44% of families have made a gift as of Sunday! We truly appreciate your support and commitment to the students we serve!
Congratulations to our Annual FUNd Day pizza party contest winners, Ms. Jennifer Dolese’s and M. Binetou Badiane’s classes! We are also grateful for the assistance of our outstanding parent co-chairs Patrick Tucker and Leah Badger and to all our room parents and parent volunteers who have encouraged families to support the campaign.
Annual Fund donations can still be made through May 31, 2015. Gifts made by December 31, 2014 are tax deductible for the 2014 tax year and can be made at www.auduboncharter.com (click “Support”, “Annual Fund”) or by check written to Audubon Charter School and dated by December 31. Donors who make a gift of a $100 or more by December 31 will be entered into a raffle for four lower level Pelicans tickets. For families who donate $250 or more, a book plate with their child’s name will be placed in a library book in the child’s honor (one book for each child).
Please see below for an updated class participation list. We will publish a list of donors to date in the Rare Bird in January.

The following families have met their 25-hour volunteer commitment with ACS already … and it’s only December! Thank you to all of our volunteers. If you have some hours to report, please email Montessori VP, Anne Riley, at email@example.com. We’d love to see this list continue to grow. Again, thanks for all that y’all do and we are looking forward to a lot of parental involvement in the New Year.
